Carolyn's Story
This PSA tells the story of Carolyn Holt, whose heart rhythm
changed into a lethal arrhythmia while she was driving. After she
crashed her car, she was pulled out unconscious, not breathing, and without
a pulse by passersby. She received CPR from those who stopped, and one
"everyday hero" had an AED in the trunk of his car. This defibrillator
was used to shock Carolyn's heart back to a regular rhythm, and she
recovered fully.
American Heart - Chain of Survival
This beautifully-produced Public Service Announcement was
produced for airing in Massachusetts. It powerfully explains how
profoundly Sudden Cardiac Arrest death affects so many...and how we can play
a part in the "Chain of Survival" with CPR and rapid access to AED
Defibrillation.

Matt's Rescue
An 8 minute video detailing the story of Matt Keene, a
17-year-old New Hampshire high school football player who went into sudden
cardiac arrest after practice. His life was saved by an AED.
This video stresses the importance of CPR training and early access to AED's.

This PSA (Public Service Announcement)
produced by U.S. Lacrosse, the governing body in scholastic lacrosse,
emphasizes the importance of CPR and defibrillation by AED. High
school lacrosse goalie James Hendrick was struck in the chest with a shot
during the game, suffering a condition known as Commotio Corids, in which a
direct impact to the sternum causes a lethal arrhythmia. Henrick's
coach came to his rescue, utilizing an AED to shock James' heart back into a
life-sustaining rhythm.
